The source, who spoke on a condition of anonymity, witnessed the ground work being laid for the "black sites" in a number of countries and locations. These include the Taszar airbase in south-central Hungary, near the town of Pecs; Lv'iv, Ukraine; Szczynto-Szymany, Poland; Skopje, Macedonia; Mihail Kogalniceanu airbase in Romania; Tbilisi, Republic of Georgia; Shkoder, Albania; Burgas, Bulgaria; and the Markuleshti air base in Moldova.

Crating prisoners hearkens back to the Vietnam War when the U.S. used "tiger cages" installed by the French on Con Son island off Vietnam to hold political prisoners. The U.S. used the tiger cages to detain and torture suspected Viet Cong sympathizers. Many of the prisoners were merely innocent Buddhists and anti-war activists. The flying of caged prisoners from airport to airport on chartered C-130s is yet another indication of what military judge advocate general (JAG) lawyers have cited as the Bush administration's penchant for placing prisoners in "law free zones."

November 11, 2005 -- A group of veterans of Operations Iraqi Freedom and Desert Storm sharply criticized the Bush administration today at an event sponsored by Veterans for Common Sense in Washington, DC. Dave Debatto. a former US Army Counterintelligence Special Agent who was assigned in 2003 to Iraq, said he took part in thousands of interrogations in Iraq. He said his orders and those for his colleagues were never to lay hands on anyone, let alone torture anyone. Consequently, Debatto and other interrogators received a lot of intelligence through their cooperation with Iraqis at the outset of the U.S. occupation. However, he said when new tactics were employed in June 2003, things "went south" quickly. Intelligence dried up and Camp Anaconda, his base of operations, became "Mortarville" as it was mortar-shelled day and night.

Frank Ford, a 32-year veteran of military and counter-intelligence assignments, served in Samara, the ancient capital of Mesopotamia, during Operation Iraqi Freedom. His military service began when he served with President Richard Nixon's Presidential security detail at the Western White House in San Clemente, California.

Ford said at the outset of his assignment in Samara his unit was witnessing 105-100 walk-ins of intelligence sources per day. The only problem was recording and reporting on all the intelligence being provided. After the May 2004 "Wedding Day Massacre" by US troops of a wedding party in the village of Mukaradeeb in western Iraq, near the Syrian border, Ford said things "went south real fast." He said there was an immediate response from the Iraqis. The soured relations with the Iraqis resulted in walk-in intelligence sources dropping from 105 to 110 a day to 2 to 3, and soon to zero. Immediately, U.S. troops in Samara were besieged. The U.S. response was to pick up all males between the ages of 10 and 100 whereupon they were "bagged, tagged, and brutalized." These clean sweeps were conducted in 120 degree temperatures. The new American tactic resulted in an escalation of insurgent attacks.

Ford said Iraqis who had cooperated with the United States warned the US military to knock off the torture. Intelligence reports on U.S. torture were sent up the military chain to Washington. The reports were ignored. Ford said, soon, interrogation became extermination. Ford requested a formal investigation of the torture. The response of the U.S. military command in Iraq was to physically assault Ford and take him to a psychiatrist. Ford was told he was imagining torture. Ford said things got uglier when he was ordered out of Iraq to Germany strapped to a stretcher. Soon after, Ford retired from government service.

Ford was not surprised when 60 Minutes aired its report on torture at Abu Ghraib. He knew where the "kids" at Abu Ghraib were trained in the illegal tactics they employed against the prisoners. In fact, Ford's headquarters was Abu Ghraib. Instead of stopping the torture tactics, the orders from Washington were to send "non-talkers" (Iraqis) to Abu Ghraib for interrogation. Ford revealed that a special team of foreign nationals were brought into Abu Ghraib to advise on torture techniques. The physical stripping of prisoners was one such tactic imported by the foreign national advisers. Meanwhile, U.S. military commanders said torture was not occurring.

Ford said soon the U.S. position in Samara first began to disintegrate n June 15, 2003 after former members of the Iraqi Mukhabarat intelligence service, along with "Saddam Fedayeen" former special forces, launched "Operation Viper," a Tet-style offensive against the U.S. The Mukhabarat warned that five U.S. soldiers would be killed per week. Ford said the insurgency has drastically increased that target number today. Iraq war veteran Garrett Repenhagen said that Abu Ghraib changed things in Iraq. He said that after news of the abuse  became public, many Iraqis shifted their support to the insurgency. One starving Iraqi youngster who used to accept a daily meals ready to eat (MRE) package from Repenhagen refused it after the news from Abu Ghraib became known.

Ford, who has a degree in anthropology and specializes in archeology and is familiar with the histories of the current and past countries of the Middle East, said torture has very primal effects on a society in a drastic way. He said the "U.S. restructured the premier torture center in the Middle East," referring to Abu Ghraib during Saddam Hussein's rule.

As far as the presence of contractor personnel in U.S.-run prisons in Iraq and other countries, Debatto said interrogation contracts for companies like CACI and Titan represented the first time in U.S. history that type of intelligence work was contracted out. He called the contracting out "absurd" and said contractors were "minimally supervised." Debatto called this precedent dangerous and said civilian contractors were "part of the problem."

November 11, 2005 -- New aspect of Valerie Plame/Brewster Jennings exposure revealed. According to U.S. intelligence sources, the White House exposure of Valerie Plame and her Brewster Jennings & Associates was intended to retaliate against the CIA's work in limiting the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. WMR has reported in the past on this aspect of the scandal. In addition to identifying the involvement of individuals in the White House who were close to key players in nuclear proliferation, the CIA Counter-Proliferation Division prevented the shipment of binary VX nerve gas from Turkey into Iraq in November 2002. The Brewster Jennings network in Turkey was able to intercept this shipment which was intended to be hidden in Iraq and later used as evidence that Saddam Hussein was in possession of weapons of mass destruction. U.S. intelligence sources revealed that this was a major reason the Bush White House targeted Plame and her network.

CIA counter-proliferation network prevented a WMD "salting" operation by Bush White House in Iraq.

In fact, U.S. intelligence sources report that the first shipment of VX nerve gas to Saddam Hussein was carried out between 1988 and 1989. The gas was shipped to Iraq by a U.S. company that was established in 1987 -- The Carlyle Group.

U.S. intelligence sources have also confirmed that Israeli military officers served unofficially with the U.S. Central Command headquarters in Baghdad. The Israelis were attached to the J2X (Joint Intelligence Liaison) in Baghdad. Their presence in Baghdad, according to the sources, was kept secret.

November 11, 2005 -- Susan Ralston, Karl Rove's chief of staff, is due to testify, possibly next week, before the new Grand Jury seated to continue the criminal probe of the White House leak of a CIA agent's name and cover firm to the media. The report that Ralston will testify is significant. It is confirmation that another secret Grand Jury is now sitting at the US Court House in DC. It also indicates that Rove remains under active investigation.

November 10, 2005 -- Saddam was correct. In 2003, the editor wrote the following article about Saddam Hussein's prediction that the Americans would loot and destroy Baghdad as had the Mongol hordes of the 13th century. Saddam was correct in his prognostication. The use of white phosphorous weapons on women and children, the sodomizing by US and contractor troops of imprisoned Iraqi boys and girls, the systematic looting of museums and historical sites by international gangsters as US troops look on. November 10, 2005 -- Neo-cons in retreat globally. A day after the Republicans took a beating in U.S. elections, Tony Blair suffered his first ever House of Commons defeat on a bill to further erode civil liberties in Britain. Blair's bill went down to defeat after 49 members of his own Labor Party defected to the opposition to defeat the bill 322-291. There are calls for Blair to step down as Prime Minister and his government is already being described as lame duck, much like the description of George W. Bush's administration. Cronyism has also plagued Blair. Former Home Secretary David Blunkett resigned as Works and Pensions Minister after a conflict of interest arose with a company in which Blunkett had shares, DNA Bioscience. As Home Secretary, Blunkett championed adoption of a national ID card. In France, neo-con Interior Minister Nicolas Sarkozy's role in stoking riots throughout the country have helped scuttle his presidential ambitions. In Italy, Silvio Berlusconi is on the ropes. Germany's Christian Democrats have been forced into a coalition with the Social Democrats. Progressives are on the march in Latin America. The tide has turned against the neo-con cabal that sought to institute a global hegemon based on unrestricted corporatism and militarism.

November 10, 2005 -- The intensity of French rioting subsided last night but not before arson spread to the Basque region of France. Four parked buses and a police station in Bayonne were firebombed. In further evidence that the attacks in France are well-coordinated with a view to ensuring that all parts of France were touched by the rioting, arson and other attacks were not only reported in the Basque region but also in Le Havre in Normandy, Belfort and Saint-Quentin, Grenoble in the Alps region, and Brest in Brittany. Meanwhile, French neo-con Interior Minister Nicolas Sarkozy is withstanding pressure for him to resign. Progressive political parties and human rights organizations cite Sarkozy's inflammatory rhetoric as increasing the violence. The imposition of curfews nationwide are believed to have been successful in quelling the arson and rioting. However, one question remains. Sarkozy could have imposed curfews much earlier. Instead, he called Maghrebian and African youth scum and riff-raff, saying they should be "Karcherized" (pressurized water hosed). [Note: Karcher is a German firm. Its founder, Wurttemberg native Alfred Karcher, sold 1200 "hardened furnaces" for smelting alloys until 1945, including during World War II. It now manufactures multi-purpose nuclear, biological, and chemical decontamination systems for the Pentagon.] Sarkozy delayed imposing curfews, permitting rioting to spread to 300 French cities, towns, and villages. It would be very interesting to see transcripts from signals intelligence agencies of Sarkozy's international phone conversations after the electrocution of two teens in a north Paris suburb.

November 9, 2005 -- The GOP spin machine, which is fast spinning itself into irrelevancy, is claiming that the Democrats won two key governor races in Virginia and New Jersey because they waged "nasty" campaigns, which they were expected to win. This claptrap would be humorous if it was not so hypocritical and false. The GOP tried to make incoming Governor Tim Kaine's Catholic faith an issue with the snake handling/strychnine drinking religious kooks downstate, while Karl Rove's army of dumpster divers searched through every New Jersey trash can to dig up dirt on incoming Governor Jon Corzine's divorce. The GOP dirty tricks tactics failed miserably -- a sign that Rove and the neo-con cabal that have brought this country to the brink of foreclosure are on the ropes.

November 9, 2005 -- GOP hypocritically calls for probe of CIA secret prison leak. The House and Senate GOP leadership is hypocritically calling for a congressional and Justice Department probe of the leak of classified material concerning a network of secret prisons around the world. In so doing, the GOP is verifying the veracity of the Washington Post's report about the existence of the prisons. This GOP strategy is aimed at 1) diverting attention away from the White House leak of Valerie Plame Wilson and her Brewster Jennings & Associates non official cover network; 2) equating a crime (divulging a highly sensitive covert operation) to blowing the whistle on systematic violations of U.S. and international law (revealing U.S.-run torture camps in secret locations); and 3) trying to get the Justice Department to appoint a special prosecutor to target anti-war journalists who have written about the secret detention centers to reveal their sources. Adding to the poisonous waters he has already created, CIA Director and Bush flunky Porter Goss has asked the Justice Department to investigate the leak about the secret prisons. There are reports that the information on the prisons actually emanated from a GOP senator who is opposed to the torture of prisoners and who serves on one of the oversight committees -- Intelligence and Armed Services. Expect the FBI to talk soon to Senators John McCain, Lindsey Graham, and Trent Lott.

November 9, 2005 -- France imposed a state of emergency as rioting continued for a 13th straight night and spread to more towns, including Calais, the French end of the "Chunnel" rail link to England; St. Raphael; Amiens; Grasses; Bassens; Savigny-sur-Orge, and Arras. Other cases of arson were reported throughout Belgium -- in Ghent, Antwerp, Lokeren -- and in Germany, where Cologne was hit for the first time with car arson.

WMR has emphasized that the arson attacks are well planned, coordinated, and only plaguing the three major NATO countries that opposed the war in Iraq, For that reason, European law enforcement and intelligence agencies should place 24x7 surveillance on Israeli diplomatic and intelligence personnel who may be engaged in "Lavon Affair" and "911" style false flag operations. Such an operation aimed at Venezuela's President Hugo Chavez may have just been uncovered in Trinidad and Tobago.

In what may have been an attempt to stage a set of bombings in the Caribbean oil region and point the finger at Venezuela's significant Arab and Muslim population, a Russian-born Israeli national was recently arrested in Port of Spain, Trinidad.   Vatang Agrunov (who uses the aliases Bhatang Agranouve and Dahtang Mik Agarunov), 26, is being questioned by Trinidadian authorities for his connections to four bombings in Port of Spain this year-- on July 11 on busy Frederick Street (injuring 14 people, 2 seriously, one woman losing her leg), August 10 on busy George Street, September 10, and November 3. As was the case with Israeli "art students" and "movers" who have been detained in the United States and Canada, Agrunov played dumb, first claiming he did not steal an immigration extension stamp that could be illegally used to grant visa extensions in Trinidad. According to the Trinidad and Tobago Express, in typical broken English and proffering a sob story, Agrunov told police, "I just want to say I take the stamp and finish this story. I don't want to stay in this country any longer. I want to go home. I just want to finish this and go back to my country because my family does not know what happened to me." 

Agrunov had used the immigration stamp to extend his own stay in the country. Caribbean authorities have intelligence that Agrunov is a suspected terrorist.

Israeli terrorists in Caribbean setting the stage for attacks in Venezuela?

Trinidad and Tobago authorities, including the Trinidad Anti-Crime Unit, the Criminal Investigation Division, and the local Interpol representative, are awaiting an Interpol report on Agrunov. Port of Spain Magistrate Maureen Baboolal-Gafoor denied Agrunov bail, citing him as a flight risk. Israeli agents have been arrested in New Zealand and Australia on charges that they were involved in the theft of New Zealand passports. As typical in such cases, the Israeli government denied any knowledge of the Trinidad affair. The Israeli embassy in Caracas, which has responsibility for Israeli affairs in Trinidad, said it had no information on Agrunov's arrest.

The unfettered use of a Trinidad visa stamp by an Israeli false flag cell would have permitted Israeli agents to secretly enter and exit Venezuela via nearby Trinidad, which is only 7 miles away -- an excellent cover for committing terrorist attacks on tourist centers or oil installations in either Venezuela or Trinidad -- and blaming them on "Al Qaeda" or Arabs and Muslims living in the area. The previous bombings in Trinidad were at first blamed on local Muslim activists. Israel's Foreign Ministry is labeling as "strange" the reaction of Trinidadian authorities to the presence of a suspected Israeli terrorist in their nation.

There is also evidence that the FBI arrived in Trinidad after the July blast to cover up for the Israelis. Local police complained that the FBI presence was not required and Prime Minister Patrick Manning said he was unaware that anyone had requested help from the FBI at the time. In cases where local police and Federal agents detained Israeli agents snooping around sensitive industrial and military facilities in the United States, the FBI quickly had them transferred to their control whereupon they were hurriedly deported from the United States. In some cases, deported Israelis have returned to the United States.

November 9, 2005 -- Yesterday was the first day of ethics training classes at the White House. The classes were led by one-time Supreme Court nominee Harriet Miers. With one major exception, all those named in the indictment of Lewis Libby were in attendance yesterday or are expected before close of business today, including Karl Rove, John Hannah, and David Addington. Vice President Dick Cheney was not required to attend.

November 8, 2005 -- More cases of arson were reported throughout France and Belgium. In Belgium, five more cars were torched in Brussels while other arson cases were reported in the towns of Sint Niklaas and Liege. There were more arson incidents in Bremen, Germany. Rioting also spread to the French towns of Toulon and Draguignan and the Breton towns of Blois, and Quimper. What is significant is that many of the towns being hit in more recent rioting do not have large Muslim populations, especially those in Brittany, Alsace, and Normandy.

Late News: As additional proof that there are psy-ops behind the current wave of unrest in Europe, not only have there been arson attacks in Sint Niklaas, Belgium (named after St. Nicholas (Santa Claus)) just before the Christmas holidays but also a wealthy neighborhood in Brussels -- Dilbeek. There was also an incident of a Molotov cocktail being thrown at the secretary of an extreme right-wing Flemish party in Brugge. Violent incidents were also reported in other districts in Brussels. France, Belgium, and Germany were the three most conspicuous EU and NATO members that opposed the US invasion of Iraq. CNN's Christiane Amanpour, married to Democratic neo-con Jamie Rubin, Madeleine Albright's one-time water carrier, is now reporting from France on the "seriousness" of the situation, likening it to the Algerian Civil War and leftist riots in 1968. She also referred to riots on one of the islands off of France but did not seem to recall its name. The island is Corsica, which has seen violence from an independence movement.

With Amanpour's scripts obviously being pre-approved by CNN's Washington head honcho Wolf Blitzer, a one time reporter for the Jerusalem Post and a former editor for the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) newsletter The Near East Report, look for CNN to hype the situation in France and elsewhere as a European "Intifada."

Not coincidentally, the Australian and British media outlets owned by Rupert Murdoch are hyping the arrest of a group of rival Muslims in Melbourne and Sydney who are claimed to have been planning a "large scale" chemical attack in Australia in a "holy war." The two rival groups are being reported to have conducted a "race" to be the first to carry out a chemical attack on Australian soil. Sounds more like Fox News and Murdoch hype.

The concept of "creative destruction" is a tenet of the neo-con movement. It has been outlined by neo-con philosopher Leo Strauss and his modern day disciples, including Michael Ledeen, Dick Cheney, and Binyamin Netanyahu. As a former Mossad senior official once told the editor, "Yitzhak Rabin's assassination was carried out by the Likud to destroy the peace process and throw the region into turmoil. Never forget that." I won't.

November 8, 2005 -- Was Fujimori "renditioned" in a carefully-planned set up by the current and former CIA agents as a further slap at Bush? Former Peruvian President Alberto Fujimori, wanted in Peru by the government of Alejandro Toledo, was arrested by Chilean authorities after his surprise arrival in Santiago to announce his return to politics in Peru. The high-profile arrest came as George W. Bush departed South America after a disastrous visit.

There are Peruvian and Interpol arrest warrants for Fujimori who has been exiled in Japan since he resigned from office while attending a 2000 Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in Brunei after a decade in power. Fujimori announced his resignation in a fax sent from Brunei before fleeing to exile in Japan.

Fujimori faces a 21-count indictment in Peru, including murder and corruption counts.  What makes this case more intriguing is that the private plane that transported Fujimori stopped in Atlanta before flying to Chile. The Mexican government also confirmed the plane stopped in Mexico prior to flying to Chile. The presidents of Chile and Peru were meeting with George W. Bush in Mar del Plata at the Americas Summit just prior to Fujimori's flight from Japan to Atlanta and Mexico and on to Chile. The timing for a "rendition" while Chile's and Peru's presidents were engaged at the summit was perfect. No one suspected it, not even Fujimori's right-wing patrons in Tokyo, including Tokyo Governor Shintaro Ishihara and multi-millionaire Diet member Torao Tokuda. Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi, an ally of Bush, has resisted Peru's extradition efforts to have Fujimori returned. Intelligence insiders believe the Fujimori exfiltration to Chile may have been part of a clever ruse designed by disgruntled U.S. intelligence operatives to send a warning shot across Bush's bow. A Fujimori trial in Peru is bound to highlight his connections to various Bush family enterprises, not all of which are legal.

The Japanese government claims it was unaware of Fujimori's plans to travel to Chile. It was first reported that Fujimori traveled to Chile to launch a comeback bid for the Peruvian presidency. He was arrested after having set up shop for his new "Si Cumple" political party in Santiago's Marriott Hotel. Peru has asked Chile to extradite Fujimori to stand trial. The Chilean government, preoccupied with the Americas summit in neighboring Argentina, also seemed surprised at Fujimori's sudden arrival in Santiago.

There is speculation that Chile's arrest of Fujimori may be part of a larger ploy to get Peru to drop charges against Chilean billionaire businessman Andronico Luksic, Jr., the owner of a consortium of banks, telecommunications companies, factories, mines, and breweries. Luksic also faces an INTERPOL arrest warrant for failing to appear in a Peruvian court on September 29 to face charges that he paid a $3 million bribe to Fujimori's government involving the building of a pasta factory in Lima. That deal involved Peru's former National Intelligence Service (SIN) chief Vladimiro Montesinos, now jailed in Peru. Montesinos was code named "The Doctor" by the CIA and was well known as a facilitator for U.S. weapons smuggling and drug deals involving the Bush crime family. The CIA paid Montesinos at least $10 million between 1990 and 2000. The payments began just after the elder Bush launched his  1990 "Andean Initiative" to counter "drug proliferation" in the region.   The Andean Initiative actually saw an expansion of coca growing fields in the region. Montesinos deposited $264 million in bank accounts in Switzerland, the Cayman Islands, the United States, and Panama. Bush stopped in Panama for a short visit at the end of his South American trip.

Luksic also serves on the international advisory board for Barrick Gold along with George H. W. Bush and Brian Mulroney. Edward Ney, the elder Bush's ambassador to Canada, is a Barrick director. The Luksic Group's business ties with Japan began in 1954 when the patriarch of the family, Andronico Luksic, Sr., sold a copper mine to Nippon Mining Company, making a windfall profit.

There is speculation that Chile may trade Fujimori to Peru in return for dropping the charges against Luksic. That would be an unpopular move in Peru. Allowing Fujimori to return to Japan would further poison Chilean-Peruvian relations. If both Fujimori and Luksic stand trial in Peru, their ties to Bush family enterprises would certainly come out in the trials. Luksic's bribes to Fujimori and Montesinos, the CIA's payments to "El Doctor" Montesinos that began under Poppy Bush's administration, Luksic's connections to George H. W. Bush and other deals between the Bush family and corrupt politicians in Latin America may all come out in the wash. At a Fujimori trial, the government would certainly try to get his former spy chief to testify in return for leniency in his own sentence.

Some of Montesinos's former SIN officers have been tied to the procurement of Peruvian mercenaries to serve in the "Green Zone" in U.S.-occupied Baghdad. These deals have been conducted through a U.S. mercenary firm called Triple Canopy, formed by ex-Delta Force officers, and twoPeruvian firms, Gun Supply, Triple Canopy's agent in Lima, and Gesegur SAC, a company tied to the former SIN of Montesinos. Another firm, 3D Global Solutions in Indiana, screens Peruvian mercenaries for the Pentagon.

An upcoming Fujimori and/or Luksic trial in Peru could be very embarrassing for the Bush criminal family. Tales of drugs, weapons smuggling, bribes, and money laundering. If there is no quid pro quo involving a Fujimori extradition in return for dropping charges against Luksic, two high profile trials in Peru will bring out a lot of dirty laundry involving Bush family dealings in Latin America. However, even a trial for Fujimori is bound to embarrass George W. Bush and his father, especially after the younger Bush's disastrous trip to Latin America.

November 7, 2005 -- BREAKING NEWS --  U.S. used white phosphorous chemical weapons in Iraq. The editor has seen gruesome evidence gathered by the Italian RAI TV network documenting America's use of deadly and horrific white phosphorous weapons, including grenades, mortars, and artillery shells, on civilians in Iraq. Weaponized white phosphorous (WP), also called "Willy Peter," literally melts skin upon contact. However, the WP munitions used in Iraq have apparently been modified so that most of a targets' clothing is not burned but skin and bones are horribly melted. The results are fully clothed macabre corpses -- the intention of which is to frighten civilians and insurgents alike as an extreme form of psychological warfare operations (psyops). The editor also saw evidence that women and children were victims of WP weapons. Age and gender could be readily determined based on the clothing worn by the victims. White phosphorous was one of the chemical weapons the Bush administration claimed was in the possession of Saddam Hussein's military. The RAI story is to air tomorrow. Story developing . . .

November 7, 2005 -- Bush trip to Latin America an unmitigated disaster. Although the corpo-media is painting George W. Bush's trip to an Americas Summit in Mar del Plata, Argentina and his visits to Brazil and Panama as a "nothing lost, nothing gained" venture, in reality, it was a total disaster. Bush was clearly afraid to personally confront Latin America's most popular leader, Venezuela's President Hugo Chavez Frias. Instead, Bush waited until he arrived in Brazil to accuse Chavez of not providing for his people. Bush and his support team carefully choreographed Bush's movements at the summit to prevent any encounter between him and Chavez. The Venezuelan leader emerged from the summit as the clear victor, Bush as a dejected loser.

Ironically, while poverty, long-term unemployment, and savings have plummeted for Americans during Bush's term, Chavez has shared his nation's oil revenues with its poorest citizens. The only Venezuelans who have had to make a sacrifice are Venezuela's wealthy elite, the natural allies of Bush and the neo-cons who tried to overthrow Chavez in a coup in April 2002. Chavez and a group of other populist leaders, including the presidents of Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, and Paraguay, managed to scuttle Bush's Free Trade Area of the Americas. That plan is now as dead as Bush's social security reform initiative and his plan for an outbreak of democracies in the Middle East.

Bush's visit generated massive street protests in Argentina, Brazil, and Panama. Observers believe that Bush's visit to Panama was sending a message to Latin American leaders who oppose Bush. It was in December 1989 that Bush's father invaded Panama and overthrew its leader, one-time Bush family drug and arms smuggler Gen. Manuel Noriega.

After his disastrous trip to Latin America, Bush arrives back in Washington just in time to see his party take an anticipated drubbing in off-year elections on Nov. 8 and the arrival in Washington of Iraqi National Congress head and Iraqi Oil Minister Ahmad Chalabi, the source of much of the bogus intelligence that was used to justify the U.S. invasion of Iraq.

November 7, 2005 -- As predicted in yesterday's WMR, youth rioting has now spread across the French border for the first time. Cars were set ablaze at the main Gare du Midi train station in Brussels and in a working class district of Berlin. And, the French rioting has resulted in the first fatality -- a man was beaten to death by rioters north of Paris as he was trying to put out a trash can blaze.

Also for the first time, churches were the targets for arsonists in Lens and Sete in France. A McDonald's was burned to the ground in Corbeil-Essonnes, south of Paris.

Neo-con and other pro-Israeli media outlets, meanwhile, continue to fan  rumors that the riots in France that are spilling into neighboring countries are totally Muslim inspired. Various Mossad fronts on the Internet are calling the riots the "Ramadan Uprising" and the "European Intifada." Haaretz is reporting that many Israelis are ecstatic about the rioting in France, figuring they will have new allies against the Arabs. For that reason, Interpol, Europol, and national European law enforcement and intelligence agencies should place a 24-hour watch on all Israeli diplomats and intelligence agents within their countries until the violence subsides.

November 6, 2005 -- Neo-con/fascist provocateurs behind French riots? As is the case with other European countries where fascist and Islamist fundamentalist forces have joined forces, there is increasing evidence that the riots that have swept France for a week and a half have been far more than spontaneous reactions to the electrocution at a Paris electrical sub-station of two Muslim teens who were escaping police. With an ailing President Jacques Chirac stepping down in 2007, the battle lines have been drawn between two conservative presidential candidates -- Interior Minister Nicolas Sarzoky (nicknamed "Sarko"), a confirmed neo-con in the tradition of fellow travelers in Italy, Britain, Denmark, the Netherlands, Israel, and Spain, and Prime Minister Dominique de Villepin. Sarkozy has inflamed Muslims and other minorities in France by describing ghetto youths in broad pejorative terms such as "riff-raff" and "scum." While Sarkozy has inflamed the situation with his anti-immigrant rhetoric, de Villepin has sought to mollify the situation by not wanting to overreact and create more turmoil.

However, with rioting spreading beyond Paris to the north and south of the country and extending beyond young Muslims to unemployed African, Afro-Caribbean, and white young people, the situation is being used by Sarkozy to blame "Jihadist conspiracists" for coordinating the rioting. Sarkozy has strong links to the Likud Party in Israel and the neo-cons in the Bush administration and the Blair government in London. The neo-con media conglomerates such as Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation and the Hollinger Group are blaming the violence on France's relative tolerance of its large Muslim population. The  neo-con media is also playing up reports that French rioters are proclaiming that they are turning Paris into "Baghdad." The always reprehensible neo-con racist Mark Steyn, who pens his vile hate-filled garbage for the Chicago Sun Times and other neo-con rags, writes that the rioting youths are not really French but Arabs taking advantage of Jacques Chirac's "weakness" on Iraq. Funny, but this editor never met too many Arabs from Cayenne, Fort-de-France, Basse-Terre, Abidjan, Antananarivo, Porto Novo, or Brazzaville. Too bad about the neo-cons, geography and history don't seem to be their strong points. Racist talking points, on the other hand, are their stock in trade.

Neo-con game plan? Turning Paris into Baghdad

What is happening in France has all the signs of yet another possible neo-con "false flag" operation in the same category as the Niger fraudulent uranium documents, the provocative actions of Israeli agents in New Jersey who were dressed up as Arabs during the morning of 9-11, unexplained Spanish and British government activities surrounding the train bombings in Madrid and London, and recent deadly bombings in Delhi during Hindu and Muslim holidays attributed to a previously unknown Kashmiri group. The neo-cons have been unhappy about India's Congress government (a government the neo-cons are trying to link to the UN Oil-for-Food scandal), which unlike the previous Hindu nationalist government, is making peace overtures to neighboring Pakistan. As with France, India immediately suspected closely coordinated planning in the bombings and sought to analyze intercepts of thousands of cell phone calls placed in the Indian capital shortly before the bombings.

The French politician who benefits the most from this explosion of violence in a country where Muslim citizens constitute a significant minority is Sarkozy. The losers stand to be de Villepin's faction of the Gaullist RPR party and a newly-resurgent Socialist Party, which rejects the neo-con international agenda. It is not coincidental that the rioting is mainly plaguing cities and towns governed by Socialist and Communist mayors -- leaders who are now caught between addressing the social problems that helped spark the violence and responding to calls for a return to law and order.

The Socialists, Greens, and Communists are charging Sarkozy with inciting greater violence and then failing to respond to it adequately, thus ensuring the rioting would spread beyond mainly Muslim areas in Paris to wealthier Parisian neighborhoods and beyond Paris to Rouen, Lille, Nice, Dijon, Strasbourg, Marseille, Bordeaux, Rennes, Pau, Orleans, and Toulouse.  Later, the closely coordinated rioting spread further to Lyon, Roubaix, Avignon, Saint-Dizier, Drancy, Evreux, Nantes, Dunkirk, Montpellier, Valenciennes, Cannes, and Tourcoing.

As in Italy, Britain, Switzerland, and Germany, there are strong links in France between Islamist fundamentalist provocateurs and neo-Nazis. For example, French National Front leader Jean-Marie Le Pen is close to Achmed Huber, formerly of Al Taqwa, a Swiss and Italian financial group linked by the United States Treasury Department to Al Qaeda. Informed sources in Germany and the United States have also linked Huber to the activities of Panamanian dictator Manuel Noriega during the Iran-Contra covert operations conducted by the Reagan-Bush administration. Interestingly, French intelligence and law enforcement are reporting that the riots in France involve international narcotics smugglers.

The possibility that neo-cons and their fascist allies are manipulating the violence in France to their own advantage has the net result of bringing France into the neo-cons' oft-stated goal of a "Clash of Civilizations" between the West and the Muslim world. The likes of Mark Steyn are already insidiously referring to the Frankish-Muslim 732 Battle of Tours between a Moorish army and the forces of Charles Martel. Other neo-con propaganda outlets are echoing the words "Vichy" for the French government. It is all very transparent who is behind instigating the violence now sweeping France.

Reasonable political leaders in France should realize that the riots in France are being used to ratchet up tensions in Europe and distract attention away from recent reports of US secret prison camps and torture centers in Eastern Europe and additional proof that the neo-cons conspired to push the United States into a disastrous war in Iraq. Already, the neo-con media is blaming the violence in France on Islamic terrorists -- a stock phrase for the neo-cons in Washington, London, Jerusalem, Rome, and the French Interior Ministry allies of Sarkozy. However, most of the rioters, mostly from North Africa and Western Africa, are not even practicing Muslims, making the possibility of "Fifth Column" provocateurs being behind the violence all the more likely. French officials are increasingly suggesting that the violence has been closely coordinated and that the primary targets -- trains, police stations, youth centers, banks, libraries, post offices, municipal buildings, schools -- have  all been connected to the French government and not to ethnic or religious groups.

Muslim rioting has also spread to Arhus, Denmark and police in predominantly Muslim neighborhoods in Brussels are on full alert. The Danish rioting conveniently broke out as a parliamentary inquiry is due to get underway on the lying by the neo-con influenced government of Anders Fogh Rasmussen on bogus Iraqi WMD intelligence. Neo-con media organs in Europe and North America are suspiciously blaming the Muslim violence on Europe's "welfare state."

The National Security Agency and other signals intelligence agencies that monitor French communications are likely in possession of intercepts that would point to interesting outside interference in coordinating and promoting the French violence and the resultant counter-actions by Sarkozy. It would be interesting to read the transcripts of Sarkozy's recent telephone conversations with his co-ideologists in Washington, London, Brussels, Jerusalem, and Rome. A few years ago, a senior inspector with the French DST (FBI) told this editor that his agency's wiretaps of Richard Perle's home in the south of France had yielded some interesting information, all of which was passed to the FBI in Washington. Perhaps it is time that raw intercepts of international phone calls and e-mail among the neo-cons be leaked in order to hang them using their own past tactics. With their fingerprints beginning to appear on the French rioting, the neo-cons are proving that they will not be put down easily.

Meanwhile, the global neo-con media could hardly contain their glee over the violence in France.

November 6, 2005 -- Rove soon to be living on "Republican Riviera?" As rumors swirl around Washington that White House Deputy Chief of Staff Karl Rove may soon be leaving the White House soon "to spend more time with his family," there is renewed interest in how he obtained a sweetheart land deal on his Rosemary Beach home on the Florida Panhandle. Florida investigators have discovered that the beach tract where Rove's home is located (for which he paid a mere $165,000 for the land in 2002) was owned by the St. Joe Company, Florida's largest private land owner and a firm that George H. W. Bush and the DuPont family have had a significant financial stake. An informed source told WMR that Rove's sweetheart land deal is tied to the Tom DeLay/Jack Abramoff money laundering scandal. "Florida is the center-of-gravity with Abramoff's deals," said the source.

St. Joe also owns half of the real estate development firm Codina Group, founded by Armando Codina, a personal friend of George H. W. Bush and one-time business partner of Governor Jeb Bush. Until 1994, when Jeb Bush first ran for governor, the Codina Group was known as the Codina Bush Group. Since Jeb Bush became governor, he's taken care of his old business friends, selling them state-owned land at cut rate prices. Conveniently, Rove's Panhandle neighbors will include some of Jeb's and Dubya's top fund raisers and friends -- people financially tied in with St. Joe and Codina.

November 5, 2005 -- Feith Replacement at Pentagon Identified in Libby Indictment. Undersecretary of Defense for Policy and Plans Eric Edelman has been identified as then "then Principal Deputy" to Vice President Dick Cheney's recently indicted Chief of Staff Lewis Libby. Edelman replaced Douglas Feith, the chief architect of the Pentagon's Office of Special Plans, as Undersecretary after he was given a recess appointment by President Bush to the Pentagon post. Edelman left the Vice President's office in June 2003 to take up his post as ambassador to Turkey. However, the indictment indicates that Edelman continued to be involved in discussions with Libby after beginning Turkish language training.

According to FBI sources, Edelman used his position as ambassador to Turkey to cement a triad of weapons and drug smuggling and money laundering involving Turks, Israelis, and Americans. The CIA and US Customs Service busted one nuclear smuggling ring involving South African-Israeli national Asher Karni, a Pakistani businessman named Humayun Khan, and a Turkish Jew with strong Israeli ties named Zeki Bilmen. The smuggling network involved companies in Cape Town; Secaucus, New Jersey; and Islamabad, Pakistan. Karni was convicted by a US court for smuggling nuclear triggers to Pakistan via South Africa. The identification of Edelman in the Libby indictment as one of those possibly involved in the outing of a CIA agent and a covert company bears directly on the use of Turkey as a major facilitator in the trafficking of WMD components, particularly to the AQ Khan network in Pakistan.

An informed government insider revealed that this smuggling network and the outing of Valerie Plame and Brewster Jennings directly involved the fact that the CIA's counter-proliferation network had accumulated a great deal of intelligence on Douglas Feith's and Richard Perle's International Advisors, Inc. (IAI), registered foreign agents for the government of Turkey; former House Speaker Bob Livingston's lobbying activities on behalf of Turkey and the Cayman Islands; the lobbying activities and Pentagon ties of the American Turkish Council; House Speaker Dennis Hastert's receipt of Turkish-Russian-Israeli heroin and nuclear smuggling proceeds in the form of campaign contributions; and nuclear smuggling money laundering in Cyprus, Dubai, and the Cayman Islands.

November 4, 2005 -- The Israeli connection to the Niger and Congo uranium forgeries. The neo-cons who are behind the Niger forgeries that were used as justification for the war in Iraq have been aided by former KGB officers who honed their African forgery trade during the Cold War. A number of these KGB officers are now Israeli citizens who are working closely with a special activities unit in Ariel Sharon's office. The former KGB agents, having left the Soviet Union during the 1970s and 1980s when a neo-con cell first nested in Sen. Henry "Scoop" Jackson's office and then migrated to the Pentagon under Ronald Reagan and George H. W. Bush, now work for Likud and specialize in creating forgeries, especially those attributed to African countries. These Israeli former KGB agents work closely with neocon units in Rome, Washington, and London. The State Department once maintained a full-time office dedicated to proving Soviet generated documents as forgeries. The documents were always easy to detect since the forgeries were crude and the information contained within them was capricious.

The Congo forgeries were overshadowed by the Niger forgeries

Although the focus is on the Niger forgeries, there was another case in which forgeries "proving" Iraq's nuclear ambitions were shopped by the neocons. It received little or no attention.

In July 2002, documents on CIA letterhead were "discovered" in a Nairobi hotel room. They described attempts by Mai Mai guerrillas in Bukavu in the DRC to negotiate the sale of uranium to Saddam Hussein's government. The discovery of the documents in Nairobi came after Wilson, CIA weapons of mass destruction experts -- including Wilson's wife, Valerie Plame Wilson --  the State Department's Bureau of Intelligence and Research, the US ambassador to Niger, and the US European Command in Stuttgart concluded that there was no evidence to support the allegation that Iraq was shopping for nuclear materials in Africa -- a charge later leveled by President Bush in his January 2003 State of the Union address.
